Bookings

How do I make a booking?

Submit an enquiry from any tour, hotel, cab or activity page. Our team reviews it and confirms availability within 24 hours. You'll receive a confirmation email with payment details.

Can I customise a tour package?

Absolutely! Most of our tours are customisable. Mention your preferences (duration, group size, budget) in the enquiry form and our travel desk will tailor an itinerary for you.

How many people can book together?

Our packages cater to solo travellers, couples, families, and large groups of 20+. Pricing may vary for group bookings — contact us for group deals.

Is my booking confirmed immediately?

No. A booking is confirmed only after our team sends you a confirmation email and you complete the advance payment. Availability is not guaranteed until then.

Can I book for someone else?

Yes. You can submit an enquiry on behalf of another person. Please provide their correct details during the booking process.

Cancellations & Refunds

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations 30+ days before travel receive a full refund minus a 10% processing fee. 15–30 days: 50% refund. 7–14 days: 25% refund. Under 7 days or no-show: no refund.

How long does a refund take?

Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 working days to your original payment method. Bank processing times may add 2–3 extra days.

What if the trip is cancelled by Plan Out Trip?

If we cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances, you'll receive a full refund or a complimentary rescheduling to a later date — your choice.

Can I modify my booking instead of cancelling?

Yes, modifications (dates, group size, room type) are usually possible subject to availability. Contact us as early as possible to avoid cancellation charges.

Travel Tips

What documents do I need for a domestic tour?

A valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID) is required. For hill stations or forest areas, additional permits may be needed — we'll inform you in advance.

Is travel insurance included?

Travel insurance is not included by default. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. We can suggest reliable providers on request.

What should I pack for a North Bengal trip?

Light woolens for evenings, comfortable trekking shoes, sunscreen, a rain jacket (if travelling June–September), and a power bank. A detailed packing list is sent with your confirmation.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept UPI (PhonePe, GPay, Paytm), bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS), and debit/credit cards. Payment details are shared in the booking confirmation email.

Is an advance payment required?

Yes. A non-refundable advance of 20–30% of the total booking amount is required to secure your booking. The balance is due 7 days before departure.

Are the prices inclusive of GST?

All displayed prices include applicable GST (5% for tour packages as per Indian tax law). A GST invoice is issued on request.

Is it safe to pay online?

All payments are handled through secure, verified payment gateways. We do not store any card or banking details on our servers.

Can I pay in installments?

For bookings more than 30 days in advance, we offer a two-instalment plan. Contact our team to set this up.

My Account

Do I need an account to enquire?

Yes. Creating a free account lets us keep track of your enquiries and provide personalised service. Registration takes under a minute.

How do I verify my email?

After registration, we send a verification email with a one-click link and a 6-digit OTP. Click the link or enter the OTP in the popup to verify instantly.

I didn't receive the verification email. What do I do?

Check your spam/junk folder first. If it's not there, use the 'Resend email' option in the verification popup, or contact us at info@planouttrip.com.

How do I reset my password?

Click 'Forgot password?' on the login page. We'll email you a reset link or OTP depending on your preference.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Email us at info@planouttrip.com with your account email and we'll delete your account and all associated data within 7 working days.
